PowerPoint ppt [as MHT] within SharePoint Web Page using Page Viewer Web Part.

Step 1: Open PowerPoint. Design a slide with hyperlinks, images and content.



Step 2: Save the PowerPoint presentation as "Single File Web Page". Now this will generate a file with extension Mht.


                                   

  Step 3: Upload this Mht file into a Document Library within SharePoint.


Step 4: Browse into the Document Library. Right Click on the uploaded Mht file. "Copy Shortcut" will give the web Url for this file.

Step 5: Within Web Part Page, Add a Page Viewer Web Part. For its link of the web part, paste the shortcut of the Mht file.



Step 6: To remove the identity that the code was generated from Page Viewer Web Part, within the Web Part Setting, Under Appearance, For Chrome Type select "None". Click OK. Click Apply. Publish the Page.


Step 7 : Now you can see how the contents of the powerPoint are beautifully presented within SharePoint Page.

Hi Lavanya,

I am not sure even after i followed all these steps still i am getting popup to dowload .mht file.i am using IE9 ,is this causing any issues.
